Please reach us at chelsea@swanandcrowtattoo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Absolutely! However, there could be a wait depending on artist availability at the time of walk-in.
Yes. Consultations are highly recommended and each tattooist consultation fees may differ.
Client's should meet with their artist on a set day and time. Consultations will last approximately 30 minutes in order to discuss your ideas, placement, size, details, and pricing. If you do not already have a session date booked with your artist, the tattooist will set your appointment at the end of your consultation. Please note that it is not uncommon for the artist to request a deposit in order to book your appointment.
Pricing starts at $100 (shop minimum) for small tattoos and goes up from there. Tattoo pricing varies depending on size, placement, the amount of detail, and the time that is necessary to complete it.
Larger project pricing is determined on the length of the session and whether it is in black & grey ink or in color ink.
Each session is priced according to your artist's hourly rate which can vary anywhere between $100 - $150 an hour.
Yes! Our lead artist, Sean Olson, specializes in cover-ups. If you have an old tattoo that you are no longer a fan of, we would be thrilled to turn it into something you love. Contact us to schedule an appointment to discuss a plan to cover-up your unwanted tattoo.
Yes! Our lead artist, Sean Olson, offers Tap-Out sessions. Contact us for more info!
A Tap-Out session is when you pay a set fee that is determined by your individual artist. This type of session allows you to be tattooed for anywhere from 12-15 hours and receive as many tattoos as you would like during this session. We consider this to be the best bang for your buck when wanting to get a large piece or multiple tattoos completed in one session. However, if you Tap-Out before the maximum time limit then your session officially ends with zero refund on the time remaining.
Please visit our Policies page to see the official guidelines for a Tap-Out session. Verify these guidelines with your artist since each artist may have different policies for their Tap-Out sessions.
Contact our shop at 318-639-9038 or contact your artist directly to schedule an appointment.
Please be respectful towards your artist's availability and prepare to be flexible with scheduling. Our artists will do their absolute best to work with your schedule to get your appointment booked in a timely manner.

Yes. We pride ourselves in being a family oriented tattoo parlor. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and have permission to enter the tattoo artist's working area. We have two private restrooms that are kid-friendly but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Our facility is wheelchair and handicapped accessible through our main entrance. Our restrooms are also wheelchair and handicapped friendly.
Yes. You will need to bring your government-issued photo I.D. to your first appointment.

Pain tolerance varies with each person. Typically, yes, tattoos do come with some pain and discomfort. The pain is manageable, but some people may be more sensitive than others. Our best advice is to not psych yourself out before, and during, your appointment by overthinking the pain behind the needle. Try focusing on something else while being tattooed and it will be over before you know it!
Yes. We have 3 different brands of tattoo cream available for purchase in our shop. If you plan to use numbing cream, please discuss the process with your artist before your scheduled appointment to allow time for the cream to take full effect. We also have a numbing spray available that can be used during long tattoo sessions for an extra fee.
However, the use of any numbing agents are at YOUR OWN RISK! Lidocaine is the main ingredient used in numbing agents but we have found that although some clients may not have an immediate reaction to these products, few have had delayed reactions during the healing process.
This is something that our artist's have zero control over and cannot be held responsible for after disclosing the risks associated with using a numbing agent.
The healthier, the better! Irritated and/or broken out skin, sunburned, chaffed, or dry skin does not provide a healthy surface to tattoo on. Skin in this condition could hinder healing and provide a surface that could easily become infected. If you have any of these skin issues, we ask that you choose a different area to tattoo or reschedule your appointment once your skin has cleared up.
If you are sick, have been running fever within the last 48 hours, or have been exposed to a virus- PLEASE reschedule your appointment. Our artists value their health and the health of their families and do not want to be exposed to something that could possibly cause them to be off from work and potentially make their families ill as well.
If you are ill, we will gladly reschedule your appointment with our first availability once you are feeling well again.
Our artist's reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you show up being visibly ill. Each artist also reserves the right to consider your deposit non-refundable if you show up to your appointment visibly ill or do not give them proper notice of cancelation due to illness.
